Happy Friday, everyone! We finally made it through the week…phew! I wanted to share pictures from one of my all-time favorite articles from Country Living as a little weekend inspiration. The article features the tiny 1,000 square foot home of Lizzie Carney, a stylist/designer for Euro Trash. I absolutely love her colors and style and can’t get over her perfect little dressing room!
Every wall is painted a charcoal gray proving that dark colors can be used in small spaces. Lizzie uses soft pinks and distressed woods as accents and contrast to the dark walls.
The kitchen features a gorgeous chandelier from Belgium and a vintage refrigerator purchased at a Texas flea market.
The dual duty basement is home to the formal dining room and wine cellar. Lizzie created wine storage by stacking Belgium grape gathering plates along the walls.
My favorite room in her house! Lizzie converted her second bedroom into a dressing room/walk-in closet. I love the antique clothing racks that line the walls!
Lizzie’s bedroom features a queen sized antique French bed and another gorgeous chandelier. She creatively hid an odd placed window with floor to ceiling gray curtains.
Have a great weekend everyone!
